30 Day Happiness Challenge That Will Change Your Life

I am very excited to share with you today’s post! 🙂 Today is going to be a short but very powerful post. I started this 30 Day Happiness Challenge and I wanted to share it with you because it’s truly life changing.

Although life isn’t perfect, everyone has the ability to achieve happiness regardless of their current circumstances. Sometimes this can be hard when everything in your life seems to be going wrong, or you are currently not living the life you want. You might feel that you won’t feel happy until you achieve all your goals and get all the material possessions you want. When in reality, achieving all your goals and getting everything you want in life will only give you a feeling of temporary happiness.

We spend most of our days thinking of everything that is going wrong in our lives and what we wished we had in life. Rather than focusing on all that we currently have and what is going right in our life.

30 Day Happiness Challenge That Will Change Your Life

So this challenge is intended to change your thinking and rewire your brain to think more positively and by thinking this way, we will bring even more things to be grateful for in our life.

“Happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have” -Frederick Keonig

As humans, we tend to see what is missing in our lives and what we lack. In order to rewire your brain to think differently, you have to express daily gratitude. Although some people might already know this, not many will put it into practice.

By making time during the day to write down all that you currently have in your life, you will see how you have an endless list of blessings. You will see with your own eyes that you have far greater blessings than you have troubles. By becoming more grateful, you start to refocus the way you view your life. You will see how all that you currently have is good enough for you to feel content and satisfied with your current life.

You will no longer let the things you want make you forget the things you currently have.

Before I used to think that happiness was something that I could only find outside of myself. I would say: “I will be happy once I have accomplished this or that”, but once I had achieved it I would just move on to the next thing. That was until I learned that everything that I need to be happy already existed within me, that realization made me see life and everything else in a whole new way.

This means that YOU have all that you need within yourself to live a happy life.

So what exactly do you need to do in this 30-day happiness challenge?

It’s so SIMPLE yet so POWERFUL. I started this challenge from an amazing video that I found on Youtube. You can watch it here so that you could understand it better 🙂

The challenge is for the next 30 days, to write down 30 things that you love and are grateful for every single day. Every day has to be a list of 30 different things you are grateful for, they cannot be the same as the prior days. This challenges you to think of more things you love and are grateful for that we sometimes take for granted.

I know writing down 30 things a day might seem like a lot but that is why it’s called a challenge. You can write them down in your journal, computer or cell phone. Whatever works better for you.

You can even take it a step further and do this challenge with your spouse, friend, or loved one. You can send them your list of 30 things you are grateful for and they can send you theirs for the next 30 days. That way you can be held accountable and make sure you get it done every day.

Are you up for the challenge? Let me know in the comments below if you have every done a happiness challenge before! 🙂

Have a beautiful day, lovely!

What a smart idea! I know I am so blessed and have so many things to be grateful for and this is totally going to force me to be thoughtful and not lazy and to actually think of so many different things each day. Thanks for the challenge! 🙂

This is interesting…I usually try to write three things every day. Does 30 make a huge difference, or is it just the act of recognizing the things you are thankful for?

It’s simply to challenge you to think of as many things to be grateful for every day to notice more of the little things that we sometimes take for granted 🙂

This challenge is a really good ideal! I mean you can’t help but be happier after doing it because a challenge such as this one will help you not only learn more about yourself, but will help rediscover all the blessings you already have too.
