How To Increase Your Productivity Using The Productivity Planner

If you are anything like me, there are some days you are very productive, and you feel self-accomplished, but then you have days you aren’t nearly as productive. We can sometimes get caught up in being “busy” in things that don’t matter, instead of spending time on things that do.

So I was searching for an app or product that will help me stay productive every day, not just some days.

I came across The Productivity Planner, and it sounded like the perfect match. I still wasn’t sure if it would work for me until I tried it out for a week and I noticed a dramatic increase in my productivity.

Now I have been using it for several months, and I am immensely more productive than I was before.

So I wanted to share this amazing find with you and show you the benefits of using it and how it can help to increase your productivity, so you can get more done and achieve your goals! 🙂

Pomodoro Technique

This planner uses the Pomodoro Technique. This technique was used many years ago to increase productivity.

“The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks.”

Sometimes the hardest part is to simply start a task, but knowing you only need to work on that certain task for 25 minutes, gives you motivation to just start since you won’t be working for too long.

What I found when doing this is that I would work much more than just those 25 minutes. I would start to feel in flow, and I would just get the task done. This will vary by each task that you need to do.

There Is Enough Space To Write Everything Down

I love that it has enough space to write down all your tasks for the week and each day. I personally use this as my work planner since I work from home and it can be easy to get distracted. But this has helped me to stay focused on what I need to do.

Daily Check-In To Stay On Track

Daily, you rate your productivity score from 1-10. This helps you see what you are doing day by day that helps you stay more productive and it also helps you see what you can improve on as well.

This has helped me improve my productivity daily by realizing what helps me stay on track and what doesn’t.

It also gives you great productivity tips that you can do every day, offers tips for a better to-do list, tips on how to use your breaks effectively, and it also gives you a quick guide on how to use the planner.

It Has Helped Me Beat Procrastination

Using this planner helps me beat procrastination by getting the most important tasks done first instead of getting busy with other unimportant things.

This is great! I do a lot on the computer, but I’m still a textile person at heart. There is something so satisfying about taking a pen and checking or crossing a task item off a list. I love that this planner has inspirational quotes too!

Thanks for these tips. I get so caught up in the many different planners available that it’s hard to choose sometimes. I currently have 5 and they all offer something different. It’s hard to find one planner that offers everything you’re looking for. By the way the picture for the post (as well as all your pictures on your website) are absolutely beautiful!
